Karsten Fundal finished working on the score for the Teleseries on Blekingegade banden in 5 parts in december 09. A Danish terrorist cell from the 80's supporting PLFP & PLO. Directed by Jacob Thuesen. Also just done some score msuic for the fantastic Documentary by Michael Madsen "into Eternity"
Karsten Fundal has done a number of scores for Danish films, among which are two of the major danish films the last few years: "The art of crying" by Peter Schönau-Fog, which as won numerous prizes all over the world,has been on show in 7 countries, and was the Danish Oscar candidate in 2007. Karsten Fundal also won a Danish"Robert" award for best score 2007 in this film. With all his achievements, it can be said that making films is in his genes, way before mobile broadband and other computer-based applications started to play a key role in film development. "Flame and Citron" by Ole Chirstian Madsen, Which was seen by 670.000 people in Denmark, and will be on shown in at least 17 other countries around the world. The film was in competition in Toronto international film festival 2008. The latter film is a large movie score 85 mins. of music and for full Orchestra, ranging from quite intimate melodies to bursting orchestral heaps of textures Also important is "Mikaël" which is new orchestral music to the DT.H.
